Sandra Carrillo - Counselor
Hello Bronco families! My name is Sandra Carrillo-Pinedo and I am excited for another year at Sister Bailey ES as your School Counselor. I am originally from Los Angeles, California and a former CCSD student. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Nevada State. I received my Master's degree in School Counseling from Touro University.
I enjoy spending time outdoors, including camping, hiking, running and horseback riding. I love traveling and take advantage of that whenever I can. I also take pleasure in reading, two of my favorite authors include Reyna Grande and Nicholas Sparks. I enjoy watching movies based on true stories, as they always have an inspiring message or a lesson to be learned from past experiences.
It has been really rewarding being the School Counselor at Sister Bailey ES for the last three years and transitioning into my fourth year. Every school year is an opportunity to grow as an educator and to impact students to become the best version of themselves. I enjoy learning from each of our students and most importantly being their advocate. I look forward to the upcoming school year, along with meeting our new Broncos!
