Administration & Office Staff
Jo. Anna Grant - Principal

My name is Jo. Anna Grant and I am honored to introduce myself as the new Principal of Sister Robert Joseph Bailey Elementary School.
I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to the U.S. at 10 years old. I graduated high school here in Clark County School District and attended college at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I earned both a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Special Education. I continued my education at SUU to earn licensure in Elementary Education and Literacy Instruction. I earned an Educational Specialist degree from Nova University in Educational Leadership and hope to continue my educational journey in multicultural education.
On a more personal note, I am married to an amazing man and we have four amazing kids who also attend Clark County schools. I have a passion for animals, love to travel, and read but I spend most of my free time on or on my way to a soccer field.
In my 22 years as an educator, I have worked as a general education and special education teacher, learning strategist, project facilitator, and assistant principal. In each of these roles, my goal has always been to ensure that students have equitable access to rigorous academic experiences with the right level of support. Support that in turn facilitates growth in and out of the classroom.
I am excited to begin this journey and look forward to partnering with our amazing students, families, and staff here at Bailey E.S. In closing, I would like to share one of my favorite quotes by the poet William Butler Yeates, “ Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire”. May we at Sister Robert Joseph Bailey E.S. ignite that love and fierce determination to learn and grow in all who pass through our doors!
I look forward to getting to know you and your children!
Warm regards,
Jo. Anna Grant

Timothy Granger - Assistant Principal

My name is Timothy Granger, and I am so honored to be the new assistant principal here at Sister Robert Joseph Bailey Elementary School. Fun fact, I was born in Yokosuka, Japan, due to my parent being in the military at the time. I went to school most of my childhood in Southern California and graduated from Rim of the World High school in Lake Arrowhead. After I graduated, I joined the Navy and traveled the world for several years. Some of the countries I have been to are the Philippines, Pakistan, Africa, Italy, Australia, South America, Guam, and I traveled around the Cape of Good Hope, the southern tip of Africa. I had several jobs in my life while waiting to find myself here. Some of those jobs included; working for an actor in Hollywood, being a police officer, working in the automotive industry, being a pilot, and racing cars in NASCAR.
I went to the University of Phoenix, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Information technology and then my master’s in management. I then went to the University of Texas in Arlington and received my master’s in administration.
In my ten years of teaching, I worked in Texas as a fifth-grade teacher before moving to CCSD. In addition, I have worked as a fourth-grade teacher, Project facilitator, Read-by-grade 3 strategist, behavior strategist, and Autism teacher for ninth and 10th grade.
In all these roles, my top priority was to ensure that students understood that they had complete control of their education. It was my responsibility to ensure that all students were treated fairly, given rigorous instruction, and always had every chance to succeed.
I am looking forward to partnering with all the great students, parents, and staff at Bailey ES.
Best wishes,
Timothy Granger (Mr. G)

Samir Mustafa - Office Manager

Hello everyone! My name is Samir Mustafa and I am the office manager at Sister Robert Joseph Bailey Elementary School. After spending nearly a decade working in the classroom, I’ve learned what truly drives staff members and student learning; it’s how well you connect with the heart-beating people you’re trying to help and communicate your understanding back to them.
When I’m not in the office or helping staff or students throughout the school, I enjoy watching football, working out, and I am a die hard fan of the Las Vegas Raiders!
