Michelle DAmico - GATE/TAGS

Hi Broncos! My name is Michelle DAmico and I’m happy to be at Bailey ES for my fourth year as the GATE and TAGS teacher. I was born in Santa Clarita, CA and moved to Las Vegas when I was in kindergarten. I went to CCSD schools from grades 1-12, attending Charlotte Hill, Cannon JHS, and Silverado HS. I graduated from UNLV in 2007 and began my first year of teaching in August 2007. In my 15 year teaching career I taught 6 years in 2nd grade, 1 year in 5th grade, and 2 years in 3rd grade. After I taught 3rd grade, I decided to branch out and teach GATE. I love it so much that I’ve been there since.
I spend most of my free time with my husband while we chase around our 6 year old daughter. When we aren’t in Disneyland or gardening in our backyard, I’m reading. Reading is my favorite thing to do at home. Last summer I read 4,200 pages!
In GATE and TAGS, we will be doing tons of projects and deep thinking. I will always help to guide you and I promise to adjust our learning to make sure you get exactly what you need in our class.

Tony Green - Site Based Technician

My name is Tony Green. I moved to Las Vegas in 2013. I have one daughter (32) and a step-daughter (33), five dogs, and two cats. I am married to a school psychologist (Andrea) in the district. I have been in Information Technology for 23 years.
I started working for the district in 2016 and found I love working with children. I volunteer to watch the kids during recesses and lunches. Technology has become a significant need in education and I love teaching people how to use it properly. I visit all classes at the beginning of each year to go over proper care and maintenance of our technology.
I was adopted at birth and in 2019 found a brother and sister on my mother’s side and 3 brothers and 2 sisters on my father’s side.
It is so hot in Las Vegas, my wife (a psychologist for CCSD for 23 years now) and I travel in our RV every summer with our dogs to cooler venues to go hiking and camping. Our lives and schedules revolve around our furry friends. I also love all animals, large and small.
