Nominate a Parent to the SRJ Bailey ES School Organization Team
Our School Organizational Team (SOT) works collaboratively with the school principal to develop the school's plan of operation and budget. The SOT members also have the right to provide input on the selection of a new school principal, when necessary. Empowered by law, AB469 places critical decision-making in the hands of the SOT.
This vital team meets monthly whenever school is in session. Currently, meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month, are conducted virtually, and last approximately sixty minutes. The new term will be October 1, 2025, through the end of September 2026.
Please nominate yourself or another parent who would be a great SOT member! Nominations are open until the end of the school day on September 12, 2025.
Our principal, Mrs. Grant, will contact all nominees regarding next steps. The election will be by electronic ballot and will take place the week of September 17-26.

Perfect Attendance
Brag Tags!
WOW! 244 students received a Perfect Attendance Brag Tag for August. That means they did not have any tardies, absences or early outs. Think about all that learning they did.
There will be another Perfect Attendance Brag Tag for September, so you need to be at school every day, every minute of the school day.
Gates open at 8:45 am and the bell rings at 3:11 pm.

SafeVoice was established by the Nevada Department of Education under SB 212 in 2017 to protect student wellness, prevent violence and save lives.
